Visiting Ph.D. Students (Brains-in)

Every year, the Institute of Advanced Studies proclaims the Brains-in competition for assigning lodging fellowships to foreign Ph.D. students

Every year, the Institute organizes a call for Lodging Fellowships (Brains-in) to be assigned to foreign citizens, resident abroad, participating in a PhD course at the University of Bologna. The Institute will provide accommodation in a shared apartment at the Residenza di Studi Superiori.
The selection is based on the CV, on the reference letters and on the evaluation of the research project.

For 2007, four fellowships were assigned. For 2008, six lodging fellowships were assigned: one was funded by Fondazione del Monte of Bologna and two  from Fondazione Alma Mater (for students coming from Eastern Europe). For 2009, four fellowships were assigned. For 2010, five fellowships were assigned.
